I have set up a new all in one board with single antenna. I am just looking to use it for basic guidance for now so i have no was fitted. I have followed all the instructions for setting up the ntrip but still cant get rtk. I have filled in the email address and password. Also when i drive straight in single gps it doesnt move properly on the screen, as if its trying to move sideways. I have configured the f9p and teensy is it possible this hasnt worked properly? Thanks
Something surely isn’t right… are you parked underneth some building? You only receiving 5 messages from base, not enough for rtk fix… should be 12-15
Also, why using both serial and udp communication? You have usb on com 2 and udp connected.
Did you select the right IMU roll axis? Is your board mounted flat horizontaly or verticaly? I recently had issue with this, moving my mox to horizontal possition fixed it.
No i was outside at the time. I need to switch off the com 2 then? The imu is mounted flat with the plug of the box facing the left side of machine is this ok?
We are not talking numbers of satellites here, just different constellations. I use 4 constellations which means I also added 1124 (Beidou) to NHman´s list. I get 6 messages in Agio but I believe you could do with only 2 , the Base position (1005) and GPS (1074) as long as both Base and Rover can see minimum same 8 GPS satellites.
Suppose you live west of Belfast and not in Japan My base (rtk2go) also told it was placed in another country some time ago (but dont remember if and how I changed that to Denmark. Anyway I could still get a fix so that is not your problem.
I think you have missed the setting of sending messages over UDP !
So change UDP to green could help.
If your board is placed as you describe you migt possibly need to change the X Y axis of the imu and also possibly invert the roll so positive numbers right tilt negative number left tilt
Yea i have noticed that it says japan before, but i have another setup working off it no problem. My udp button is also green. On the all in one standard board does the x axis of the imu need to face forward? I can move it easy enough. Also with the two f9p sockets wich one am i meant to be using for single, is it possible i have it in the wrong one?
F9P in Left Rover
X and Y can be altered in AOG roll settings
Ok i will check this out, thanks Larsvest.
How do i set the heading of imu?
In the settings i can only invert the roll axis
Find the autosteer settings, where you adjust WAS, pure pursuit and etc, with blue arrow on the bottom right expand the windows and browse through options and you will find roll axis
Heading does not matter. AOG always use the gps heading, and just use IMU heading to compare with, and depending on where you put the gps heading slider, is able to smooth gps heading.
So i still cant get rtk to work and i dont think the gps is right either it seems jumpy. I tried to update the f9p firmware again with the configomatic, this didn’t work so i have tried the u centre and it wont work either
All seems to be working now. My f9p musnt have been configured correctly. Turns out the usb cable was faulty i was using to configure it. Difference cable, configured properly and rtk working now. Thanks for your help everyone.
