So, been working in the shadows with the EHi valve. Still some things to do to get the steering setup smooth but ’it works’ state reached.

Original piping intact and rerouted to EHi, WAS in kingpin and one rocker switch operates off-on-autosteer in cab. Switch also energizes safety/mode select valve and. Disengage is with SASAIID sensor, beta version of safety code also running now that recognizes sensor faults.

There’s an integrated priority valve in the EHi and using the PVED-CC actuator, still learning how to set up the valve parameters to get it smooth…

How do you attach the WAS to the kingpin?

My friend made adapters like this to replace the kingpin bolt. Loctited in place.

Rear axle is made by Claas, same as Mega, Medion, small Tucanos etc

Looks good. A little different on a New Holland. How many degrees does it turn?

Around 40 deg both ways, it’s a digital sensor with 360 degs with 0.1 deg resolution. Bracket is 2 mm alu so that it’s not too stiff except in the turning direction.
