Looking to buy tablet to run Agopen, should I try to buy one with sim card slot to have internet on board? I know I can share internet from my phone, but it seems like extra step.
Is RTK through NTRIP only reason why Ag needs internet?
Yes.
You need data plan for that simcard if you can get cheap data plan its more convenient then mobile hotspot. Turning on hotspot is one click on phone, for many its better/cheaper to share from phone then having 2 data plans.

Thank you for the answer. I can have data plan for 5€ per month here in Finland so I think I will order Toughpad with sim card slot.

if you think you will use udp in the future, it is better to buy a lte module with a router. on rut240.
