Ive just soldered the ethernet pins on the teensy, flashed it using the aogconfigomatic tool which looks great. I haven’t received the imu or soldered pins on f9p yet but thought i would power the board up with the teensy and was to check was is working as expected.
The was is working fine and can see the angle changing on aog but should i have any flashing lights on teensy without imu and gps? Also on the ethernet configuration page the ip address of the steer module dissapears and comes back every couple of seconds, is this normal? Sorry for all the questions, i am trying to test each component as i go.
Thanks
Looks fine.
If you’ve flashed the Keya firmware no led on the Teensy,
if you’ve flashed v4.1ino then Teensy will flash orange.

I had same problem of dropping connection. Fix was very easy, just clean those 6 pins you soldered. You have a lot of soldering paste left or whatever that brow dirt is thats left after soldering.
The orange light flashes if the teensy is receiving a valid gga location from the receiver. If you don’t have a receiver, there won’t be any lights flashing.

Ive flashing it with the keya firmware so doesnt sound like i will have any leds flashing.
Thanks, how did you clean that brown stuff off?
Find something like this in local stores, its a contact spray
Cleaned it up and its still doing this, is this not right?

Was is rock steady when aog is open.
That looks normal. If it’s actually changing from green to red, then you have an issue.
