at trimble when simply using AB mode without border. there is an option (sound and message) to warn the user that we are reaching the end of the guidance line. the end of the line is determined and calculated relative to where we voluntarily disconnected the guidance, during the previous pass (a few m before this point).
can be an interesting feature for those who are in old school mode and who do not want to use the borders and all the other great features of ago. we must think of our elders who just need AB.
it is not at the creation of the line. it is updated at each new pass. if you have stopped the guidance 20m further or less far at the next pass the audible alert will sound at this new location. the alert does not disengage it only warns the user who is sleeping
I know it does not engage and you can set how far before end of line the beep will wake you up. But in my days fmx and tm2050 it counts back from where point b from abline is set.
