Where are you from? In Europe close to Baltic see we had issues with GPS becsuse of GPS jumming by some other special agents
Coordinates are from North America, no Russian jammers there and jammers should affect old and new AGIO the same way.
Tell this to 3/4 Polish people. When russians do their job, no GPS in north and center Poland
Iām having the same problems, the RTK lasts a while it cuts out, I only get Float RTK, then it grabs it, I read that there are solar storms, but Iām going to try what you say about saving the configuration with the old version and then opening it in the new one , although I think AGIO does something different.
Has anyone experienced random RTK Drops to float after switching to latest version of AOG, currently v6.3.2. Phone hotspot and service was okay every time, and tablet didnāt drop the wifi connection. It just suddenly switches to float, without previous AGE countingā¦
Where are you from? Perhaps affected by the recent GPS jamming?
North Serbia. I havenāt heard of any jamming?
What is the distance from base? Iāve experienced same issues.
I believe its located in Conoplja, its ~15km
Its from sl agrosolutions they sell and assemble FJ Dynamics autosteers but I used their rtk for agopen
Counter is shown when you lose rtk corrections. In your case you dont lose correction as signal but probably have interference that reduces number of visible satellites >8. So you go into float. On rover side this can be reduced visibility of sky, if you are in open sky environment then lose, badly crimped, broken antenna cable is more probable case.
On base it could be that birds sit on antenna, partially blocking the signal.
Thanks for this nice description!
If your base sends out 1008, and you do not have the F9P configured to accept it it also may stay in float forever.
Ran into this one after adding 1008 to the Emlid M2 base output to play with some other trimbles, then AOG with the F9P would not fix. After setting CFG-RTCM-DF003_IN to 1 it would fix. I do not use the standard AOG F9P settings.
From reading that settingās description, is the correct value to enter here your base stationās ID?
You think it would be, the M2 just sends an empty 1008. But then the F9P would sit on float. Really thought it would just disregard it 1008 being in the stream.
