Been a while since I posted anything and Its amazing how things have moved on since I put my V2 board together!
anyway - I’ve been using mtz ino (I think) on nano with usb to control my sprayer for several years now. it’s been pretty reliable however on occasion earlier in the year it became a bit troublesome so I decided to try and get it working over UDP. I have been using the V2 with udp for some time which has been very reliable.
I hooked up a spare w5500 ethernet module and had to map the cs pin to d5 because the correct pin is taken. Pins d6 -d10 5 section relays. Pin d4 master switch, pins A0 to A4 individual section switches. I’ve tried several different machine ino. modifying them for the w5500 (maybe this in the problem?) I don’t seem to be getting anywhere. Could someone please point me in the right direction?
Futher to this, after trawling the forum I found this ino. GitHub - Xilofeon/Section-Control-for-AgOpenGPS
Having a spare esp32 I thought I’d try the WiFi route rather than ethernet. Worked great connecting to tablet hotspot (credit to author👌) until I plugged ethernet in for steer controller when cellular and everything else seemed to start playing up. Seems that the local area network created when connected to hotspot has a fixed IP of 192.168.137.1 which cannot be changed. Steer board on 192.168.5. have tried playing with settings but to no avail. I do have a usb wireless dongle coming today which from looking online seems like it might be a workaround.
Does anyone have any pointers? To clarify I’m using a toughpad with cellular for ntrip, V2 udp ethernet, f9p usb and trying to connect section control via WiFi udp.
