I’ve got a F9p, WiFi ntrip master base station and have been trying to update the messages it’s sending so a neighbour can connect his Topcon receiver.
As far as I know I need to include 1004,1008,1012 ,1033 alongside the messages I’m already using.
I can’t seem to find them in the ucentre message section.
Any help appreciated.
Most helpful advice I can give is buy a Raspberry Pi and install RTKbase, it’s so much better, I started with the same setup thinking it was simpler, far from it!
Will self configure everything and will just work.
okay thanks I’ll keep that in mind.
Okay just to update this,I had a reply from Ardusimple who said it’s not possible to output those messages with my setup.
Presumably I could just swap the WiFi ntrip master for a raspberry pi and run RTK base software?
Exactly, watch @andyinv brilliant YouTube videos on building an RTKBase base station.
All you need is the Pi and SD card and a usb cable from the Pi to the F9P.
Keep the WiFi NTRIP master, I repurposed mine with an Xbee serial board to feed NTRIP into a Trimble screen.
You could run your own copy of RTKLIB on your computer, feed RTKLIB from F9P, let RTKLIB add the RTCM1008 message, push the stream to your caster or RTK2GO or such but RTKbase is a lot simpler solution.
Sounds like RTK base is the way to go.
Can I get away with out surveying in again and just use the current known coordinates to keep the same position and my boundaries won’t move?
Just enter your known coordinates when first configuring RTKbase.
