Using Pixhawk instead of PCB board?

A few years ago I saw a couple people used a Pixhawk rather than a PCB for auto steer. I reached out to both users but noticed that have not been online for many years

Has anyone else had experience using Pixhawk with auto-steer, specifically on riding lawn tractor with Ackerman steering?

I have been using Pixhawk-style hardware with ArduPilot for drone flight control. I have also metled with the Rover mode with Ackerman steering.

There is a great deal of support on the ArduPilot forum.
