V4 all-in-one PCB

I dont think I did try invert direction. Iā€™ve had a bit of time to think about this since posting and I think youā€™re onto something. I was using the engage switch instead of clicking the buttons on the wizard screen. There may have been an AB line live.
Im going to hit it again tomorrow with a clean mind, deselect the switch option, make sure there are no AB lines, and see if I can make more sense of it.

I would like to know how to do this as well.

If you look at the bottom of the V4.1 board at where the jumper would be located you will see that the one VIA is offset in the trace. This via must be disconnected from the trace. if you take a sharp knife you can scrape away the copper at the edge of the via to isolate it from the 12v trace

Hi everyone. Iā€™m new on Aog and I would buy my first pcb but Iā€™m a little lost. I have even the f9p std and I would the V4 AIO. What is the last version of the gerber board V4.2 or V4.3 (upper in the topic) ? Thanks a lot for your answers.

@pony91 @xlbean
No need to cut traces to use 24V.
Pin 18 is already isolated to feed the cytron.

Edit: Standard v4.1 indeed have a trace to be cut. This has been corrected v4.2 and above.

Normally the one on github should be up to date.
the one in post 231 on july 11 is the last one

Even 4.3 is labelled 4.2 on the board
4.2 had the cytron power trace isolated from the 12V input
4.3 had pads corrected from vias for theses two holes to make the 12v-cytron power bridge.

Hi Guys,

I got an issue with the 2x3 header soldered on the PCB for Teensy ethernet. It is crooked and prevent the close header to seat properly, see pics.

How would you solve this ?

Thanks

Reheat the solder holding the 2x3 header. Get one blob of solder connecting all 6 pins, straighten it, then suck away the excess solder.

Thatā€™s an excellent fix suggestion.

Hello, the V4 files in the start of the topic is up to date?
The newest version is 4.3, the board files are here in the 231 post, but what about the bom files? Cant find them on github

Hello. For me I have used the 4.3 gerber file on this topic ans the bom files on Github. I have received them last week. Iā€™m in the

process to test it ans all seems ok.

These PCB faceplates for the AIO Standard in Hammond box are very inexpensive to order from JLCPCB. The yellow ovals are translucent and the LEDs are (mostly) visible through them. All the files to order your own are here:

Hi, i am courius. Did you found a solution for the steering problem?

Hi Pisti, Yes I think 3 things- our steering motor was running the wrong direction, the CPD was too high set at 161 (reduced to @90) and the steering sensor needed to be adjusted to be actually zero when the wheels were straight.

@WildBuckwheat, did you use pullup resitor? How was it?
Iā€™ve just tried directry connected with Amazone Amatron+. It does not work.

@Jhmach, kind requests:

  1. Baraki valve LOCK may use such current which killed one board with curent setup (reported by @BGunics). Can you increse the the size of that part the PCB?
So the extra relay which is recomeded now in the wiki could be eliminated.

  2. Speed pulse A: Several people mentioned ISO conector which needs quere signal over 10V, 130 pulse per m. May have that directly from the PCB?
ISO 11786 7 pins Implement signal connection

  3. Speed pulse B: It could be used insted of magnetic sensor, like sprayers, APV. Here the puse is much rare, like 1-10 per meter. I do not know the charateristic of this sgnal, but probably 12V.
This migh not need HW modification just SW config (config file is fine to me).

You then supply the pullup resistor according to your application. Some need 5V, some 10V and other 12V. The planter monitor I use supplies the pullup itself.

That would require a change in the code, which is possible to do, but the tone function currently used has some issues with very low frequencies so it most likely would require some custom manual timers.

Hello!

I am trying to order the AOI board from JLCPCB but i keep getting this error pop-up (see picture). Does this mean that it doesnā€™t work or can I proceed anyway? Thanks in advance!

Hello all,

I have the same error:
ā€œThe below parts wonā€™t be assembled due to data missing.
CN1,J3,U11,U12,U15,U18,U24,U23,H15,U2,LED2,LED1,H24,JP1,JP3,JP2,JP4,SJ2,SJ1,P2,P4,H2,H3,H6 designators donā€™t exist in the BOM fileā€

@Hammaren have you solved the problem ?

Thanks in advance

There was an answer here:

That would be normal.
