For the minimum upm settings. There is the Fixed Value and the By Speed. The fixed value does not compensate for sections (I saw someone else mention their sprayer building pressure as the sections turned off, and I too have blown a hose from this). The by speed option does compensate for sections, but I will explain the downfall of the by speed option for my use case below.
If the fixed value was set and adjusted its-self as a proportion of what sections are on or off on a sprayer its setting could be set so that it will always operate the nozzles at about their lowest effective working pressure, and this would hold roughly true as the sections turn on and off.
The problem with the by speed option is in my situation (and possibly others) say I set my lowest by speed at 5kph for a 150L/ha spray (this 5kph option would set my nozzles at about their lowest effective working pressure) this is good if I only ever intend to spray at that set L per hectare. But if I jump in the sprayer and wanted the sprayer at 200L/ha spray, or 100l/ha spray. At that 5kph set those nozzles are going to be spraying very differently to what I had originally intended it to be set for.
Hope that makes a bit of sense, basically I would love it if the fixed upm could also be proportional to the sections open or closed. or even have it as a third option. Apart from that I really like the rate control
Thanks
