WAS small read range (2V-3V)

Hi,
I’m trying to bench test my setup (AIOv4.5, just missing the Keya Motor yet). GPS/IMU all seem to work so I’m looking to test the WAS (standard 5V land rover style).

Looking at AgIO I only get an (incorrect) angle in a very small read range (between approximately 2V and 3V). After which AgIO only show (-)50. Multimeter testing shows the WAS is working correctly (an appropriate signal when moving from 0V to 5V). So I’m assuming either the ADC (or Teensy?) is wrong/misconfigured ?

Is there a setting/board jumper I need to flip? Anyone else encounter this?

Have you got the was wired up correctly, pins 1 2 and 4 on the ampseal?
Also check the wiki for the correct pin orientation of the landrover sensor, some plugs were wired back to front
Do you have the ads1115 chip on the board

Yes wired up just like the Wiki page says (don’t use WAS_LOW, I think thats for differential?). ADS1115 is SMD soldered on board (from factory). There’s no jumper or switch I need to change on the board is there?

There are no switches or jumpers. It should work as it is. Make sure all your connections are really good. That has been my main source of was problems. And I have seen plugs that come wired backwards. That’s worth looking into.

Seems I needed to reset the Steer settings (in AgOpenGPS), working properly now. Thanks
