You are narrowing it down. So no 5 volts coming from the board? There are multiple 5 volts regulators on the board. I have no personal experience with that version but this looks like the regulator for the wheel angle sensor

Thanks for your help.
After having a look around, i noticed some dodgy soldering on the AMPSEAL. It was giving intermittent power on those particular pins.
I soon got the WAS connected and now ive just got to get the steering settings right!
