Previous post had a few replies but figured I would revive the chat. Has anyone rigged up a standard scale to provide lbs/acre readout?
Going to be putting a amazon scale kit on our drill this spring and would love to connect it into AOG to get rate read out.

Curious how your project is working? Im needing a scale system on my grain drill but Scale tec quoted me around $4500 usd for just one box and i have 3 boxes on my drill.
Replacing the electronic box is fairly easy if you only need the weight, no fancy options.
HX711 would be the module to plug on a nano or similar.
I have load cells form AliExpress, they work but I don’t know for how many years, that said, the agricultural ones also fail.
I have a planter controller code on my GitHub, with load monitor. I will post here when working.
I went with a livestock scale from loadcelldepot.com. $500
Just got it installed, copied the bracketa from scaletech and others.
