Autosteer - Brushless Motor

Is it a 24v or 12v motor?
Mine is a 12v running at 23v.

I think these are the settings i was using…

Proportional 90
Max 219
Low 126
Min 26

PP
3m lookahead
1.2 gain
0 sidehill
0 integral

Stanley
2.2 Agressiveness
1.1 overshoot
0 integral.

Hey,

i was just curious if anybody had some experience with this motor:
It’s 24V DC with a planetaire reduction to 300 rpm with 4.3kg/cm.
should tick all the boxes, or am i missing something? it"s a nice compact motor with PWM capability if im not mistake.

The only problem is that it is maybe a little too slow. Look for something above 500RMP. Any DC motor is good to go with PWM.

Okay thanks i’ll look for more in that rpm range :+1:t2:, powerwise what should i be looking for? The 300rpm did 4,3kg/cm torque, but whats like the minimum I need? Keeping in mind it will be on a tractor with hydraulic steering that is.

I am using these on all of my tractors.

They buy them from Aliexpress so you can find them there. (Price will be around 40eu)

You dont need high rpm I have

And just make gear ratio 1:2 and you achieved same speed of steering wheel as 1:6 with 600rpm motor.

That is possible as well, but I prefer smaller gear at the motor.
It works for me in my tractors with the steering wheel design.

Indeed id like to have a small gear on the motor, so guess a Final 100rpm on the steering wheel would be the goal then.

One thing that Just crossed my mind, is it possible to freewheel those planetaire geared motors?

Im looking for a setup where the steering motor stays on the steering wheel on the headlands but can do some manual steering then.

Yes if you are using the Cytron motor driver. Search free wheel mod on this forum or it is also described in the wiki

Keya autosteer motor with built-in driver for precision agriculture AgOpenGPS. We already have end user in Europe who’s using this motor with AgOpenGPS on Valtra T171 tractor.

If you whant to sell better your product , you shood find someone to write ino file for controling that motor and ship ino with it.

We provide bldc steering motor with built-in driver for the purpose of smart farming navigation system.

See below link:

Way to expensive against the popular motor build and against the hydraulic valve assembly for a fraction more

Taxes ,shipment vat … till it comes to me price is doubled!

Wich protocol of interfase?

Hello. Does anyone currently work with the AOG brushless motor and vesc4.20? I also want to build it, with a brushless motor, I just want to know if it works well and if the fsesc6.6 is good for it? Thanks!

Have set up hoverboard motor with AOG but used ZS-X11H-v2. Requires PMW and DIR straight from PCB V2.4. Hardware set up thanks to @giotoma. Not really sure about reliability-has completed one season on JD combine. Plenty of used 24v and 36v hoverboard motors here in Australia…

Hello. Thank you very much for your comment! What do you mean not completely reliable? What was the problem and experience with it?
