Has any put agopen on a jcb 4220 new icon model?
Currently have a john deere system on it running through the solsteer bridge link. Its not behaving very well so wanted to try my agopen system on it.
There are 5 possible plugs all looking like canbus plugs and a bigger plug that the solsteer is plugged into.
Any advice welcome on which plug to use.
A picture of the solsteer lead going to a big plug
There is also another 2 plugs in same area, 1 underneath it and 1 to the rear.
Also 2 more plugs to the side of the seat in the fuse box area. No labels on any plugs and typical jcb using 99% yellow wires for everything
Are they all the same? Some have more pins in than others but all look the same type of plug.
Is it pins C and D for can high and can low?
I’ll need to unplug everything solsteer/greenstar related aswell?
Ive only got 4 pins on that same plug as youve put up.
No pins at 8 or 9 o’clock.
What voltage would you expect to see from the canbus pins if i probed the same 2 you used
Are all canbus plugs the same across the board? Picture of the canbus plug on the wiki shows pins c and d and also h and j for can hi and can low (think it was agco picture ')
Worst case with a CAN sniffer the existing Solsteer communication could be recorded and from that some smart guys can figure out what it takes to get it moving.
Does it also have ISOBUS? Maybe 2nd CAN is for that.
The solsteer box has a plug coming out of both ends off the box and both these cables go into that big connector as ive shown above.
Yes it has isobus, when you load an isobus implement it can either go to the john deere greenstar screen or you can swap it to the jcb’s own screen.
