Wondering if anyone can provide any guidance on putting a reciever directly on the tool? I have one on the tractor for the aio module but wanted to have another on the planter to better track planter drift on hillsides.
You’d either have to run two AOG tablets with the same ab line, or maybe compile the agtwo branch on Brian’s GitHub.
As if AOG isn’t difficult enough how about adding a second gps receiver on the tool for tool steering? I hear they are commercially ridiculously expensive. 3 options, like normal, GPS on the tractor and gps on the tool, and gps only on the tool with commercial gps guiding the tractor.
Steering on the tool only requires distance from the line as heading is only for a vehicle. As in you can’t change heading in the tool anyway.
So steer angle is based on distance from the line and is linear in na…
That’s my biggest issue with the small tractor, AOG is trying to correct but the front end gets light. Or on side hill the implement wants to start steering.
But it is way more stable on Panda, now if it wiggles its due to low DOP only.
