Thank you for your reply! Yes, I do have some example files, but sadly I’m not allowed to upload files on the site. Or can I have your email so I can send one example file to you?
Bonjour,
Je n’arrive pas à avoir plus de 2Hz en RTK Fix avec une actualisation des données en haut à droite de l’écran qui apparaissent et disparaissent en permanence est ce que quelqu’un a déjà eu le problème et a réussi à résoudre le problème ?
Cordilament
Quentin
@ChrisC Just to double check. On your valve control INO do i have to change the INO for the settings. Or does the settings page in Open Grade change them?
Bonjour Pat,
I’ll have to revisit the code for sure, but I think there were several things that would pass through from Opengrade.
What are you looking to change?
Oh for some reason I started to question whether Open Grade was changing settings in box. But tried changing settings and then checking control voltage in simulation, and decided OG was changing settings
Is there a version of OpenGrade3D with Panda (usb) and blade offset control from arduino?
Seems like there is one version for Panda and another for blade offset control from adruino available but can’t find a version that has both features.
On the OG3D side it should be able to read both GGA or PANDA sentences.
But the GNSS and machine control must be on two separate COM ports.
You could make it with teensy.
I’m planning making a little “AOG to AGS file converter” this winter.
So for those who took elevation data this year there’s still hope this will be usable some day.
I think I need to learn how to make or do panda. Is panda just the imu data or gps data to? I have a bno connected to a esp32 via qwiic i2c and a f9p separate. I can connect both to a pc via usb. I don’t know how to fuse the data together for tilt correction
Hi,
I’ve been using AOG on a few tractors for a year or so now and would like to give leveling a go in a couple of paddocks. I’ve got an older d7 which i was thinking of using. Which valve would be recommended? Is it possible to leave the original manual lever in place?
Thanks
Hello. Just to clarify, if I want to do more than just one scrape I need to to purchase a landscaping program to edit the data from opengrade3d. A field cannot be processed with just this software? //Matias
Exactly.
opengrade3D require an external design software.
Something like Optisurface.
Some people are trying to build maps with QGIS, I don’t know if they have succeeded.
Opengrade does work standalone, but you can only design the slope over one path (which can be curved)
Got yah. So tried opengrade3d 4.0.2 and simulated some survey mode, closed the field and tried to import into Qgis but did not succeed. Has anyone any experience?
Thanks for all your documentation on this setup, just a note/question on this, the nano requires 7-12v on its vin pin according to its documentation, is 5v on the vin pin verified to work?
I didn’t checked this setup but 5v should (or must?) be applied to the nano 5v pin.
Typically, 5v to Vin will make drop the operating voltage too low.
I built my own DAC based on the documentation on this forum and just wanted to share in the event that others can make use of the PCB or have any ideas for improving it. This is pretty simple, just USB to control the SCV’s on a Deere/Case with the .ino from ChrisC. PCB will fit into a TE/Amphenol enclosure. Just have to drill a hole through the header for the USB cable. I made Ground and 5V busses in the PCB to provide the necessary option signal pins on a Deere touchset so the harness can simply be exteded into the cab and only trigger the laser controls when the box itself is plugged in. If there are improvements that can be made I’m all ears, I’m pretty new to this and I’m sure there are better ways to build it. I see blackace has some additional capacitors and diodes in his schematic, but at this point mine has worked well for me this fall with Pat’s opengrade.

Just FYI, I tried this. In my case it seems like the 5v doesn’t reach the nano fast enough to catch the touchset option pins in the boot up of the hydraulic controller, thus not enabling laser controls. So the USB has to be powered up prior to key on.
So is that different than your previous board? and is there a wiring fix so that it starts up trouble free
