Hall effect encoder disengagement

I’m certain I have seen others using a hall effect sensor and magnets mounted on the steering shaft to disengage steering on their hydraulic systems but I can’t for the life of me find any of those threads now. Does the sensor just need wired into the remote switch and then it cuts the steering off after 2 or 3 pulses?

Thank you!

Yes. See the schematics (turn sensor) here Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

In the settings page you activate Turn Sensor and you also put in number of impulses.

Is your hall sensor 12 v or 5 v ?

If it is 12 V you should be able to connect it to the 15V pin beside the O and GND

Thanks guys!!
