Hi, There are 4 hoses so which do i need?
Pretty sure there is just left, right, pressure and tank then. So you need that OC valve. But write at your order which tractor you got, so Marek can check that. Picture of orbitrol would also help.
I have a problem with the OC valve. It feels like the proportional valves are not working as they should. I donât know where to start looking for the problem. When I turned the system on, the wheels wouldnât turn. After trying for a long time, the steering started working. The next day everything worked fine again. I thought I had solved the problem. The tractor stood still for a few days and when I tried to turn the steering on, the same problem happened again. Could it be that some internal valve in the OC block is stuck? Can you help? And the lock valves and the tractorâs own steering work as they should
I believe the valve is OK, but you have a setting that somehow prohibit steering, untill you by accident get that setting correct?
First show picture your steering settings page.(The "View All Settings "page)
Also picture of colours of steer icons at bottom right.
Can you steer manual , by pressing the pwm valve with a little screwdriver? Thats the easiest way to check if a valve works.if that works you know valve and hydraulics works.and you can investigate cables or settings.
Can anyone help. Is the hydraulic valve supposed to let you steer freely when there are no wires connected? It worked like that for a minute or two but now the steering wheel gets stuck first when trying to steer. After a quick while it gets unstuck and steers normally. When changing direction this happens again (video here). Weâve tried to adjust the pressure relief valve but it doesnât fix the problem. If you open it up more, the steering wheel doesnât get stuck but thereâs no power steering at all.
Iâm guessing there might be dirt or something stuck in the valve but Iâm not disassembling it unless I need to.
Itâs a valtra.
So you have a CC valve on the steering circuit?
You are sure you didnât inverted both LS ports on the valve block?
Figures, ordered a wrong valve. Didnât see the Ls hose coming to the orbitrol.
If you start the tractor with the AOG activated, the control starts working. And it works until you stop the tractor again. Can you influence the matter when there is 17bar pressure in the line returning from the orbitrol?
Is this 17 bar in return to tank line?
yes it is. MF6475 twinflow
I think I have seen something like that. First let us assume system is like this: oil goes from orbitrol to oil cooler at front, then to gearbox either to just lubricate or even to control hydraulic gearshift, and that is the reason for 17 bar!
Now pressure at T line on a baraki valve, can cause the proportional valve to move to one of the sides.
This can be confirmed by pressing in both small centre knobs of proportional valve.(About 3 mm in)
Then when you start tractor and you have problem check again and one might be out. Or at least harder to press in than the other.
But maybe this only happens when P and T are switched, so also check that!
P and T port are right. When activate steering and push proportional center knobs, nothing happens. I stopped tractor and start autosteer activated and then push center knobs wheel start turning.
That is an interesting problem!
But we need to know more specific what is activated, and how far that activation reach?
Example: autosteer activated, but still no power to lock valves, well then it certainly does not work pressing the proportional valve knobs.
And here I just assume that you actually are able to press both knobs same mm in when testing.
So first step voltage on lock valves?(Min 12v)
Both in failed, and working situations!
Here is short video. Hard to explain, but system is full working if you start tractor when the pwm is up. And works so long time that tractor is stopped couple hours. Its like pressure compensator stuck open. https://youtube.com/shorts/8XHT5_--zuQ?si=ffgjFjpftuOWrlV7
Are you always trying when parked, what happens if you try it while driving? I have some problem using lock pin when it wonât output 12v if im not moving once you start moving it unlocks and after it works without problems⌠Not sure if its version or settings related
Nothing new auto off when below min speedđ
But i set 0 for min. It happens only when I start aog first time, later I can leave it on and park for 5 min it wonât dissengage autosteer, im not new to thisâŚ
Thank you for the video.
Reading @Uprishaa explanation, this could be the same problem you have.
Could you confirm by doing the measurement I asked for earlier (12v on lock valves.)
I have not noticed the problem on my tractor(I use a switch of the type that only have contact as long as I hold my finger on it).
Maybe problem only occur with certain settings for autosteer switch (or no switch)
Remember in version 4 when doing office tests, that autosteer would not engage, untill the steer pin on Arduino had been activated once, after that the screen engage worked every time.
