Isobus VT question

Is anyone using the agiso vt? Is it capable of running isobus implements, like a Kverneland U-drill or spreader etc? Or what are people doing for retro fitting isobus into older tractors?

Here I have AgOpenGps controling an ISOBUS lime spreader on non ISOBUS tractor.

AgISOVirtualTerminal on the second tablet.

AgOpenGps can now be one built from the develop branch, it has been added officially (but it will not be in the future 6.8 release)

It also need an ISOBUS app on the AOG tablet.

Each tablet has an CAN-USB adapter.

Thats awesome!

Did you make your own isobus harness?
How are the 2 tablets communicating?

yeah how does it work with 2 tablets?

I have a isobus plough control wich im running via windows and AgOpen but i would like the same setup as you, one screen for AOG and a extra one to run isobus. it works so far but you cant open them both at the same time on one screen so you need to swicht often to check if everything is running right.

I had a harness with the connector laying around (from a JD rate controler that I removed to use AOG RC)

So I just feed the harness with power and the tractor end of the isobus wires is connected to 2 CAN-USB adapters. Order v1.0

So the main tablet is a regular setup with UDP and you connect to ISO via USB.

The second tablet is only connected to ISOBUS via USB.

I don’t know if you could run all on only one tablet since the TC and the VT apps need their own connections, both only through USB I think.

You only miss the link between AOG and AgISOVirtualTerminal?

I didn’t fund and detailed wire schema of the “standard” ISOBUS whole circuit.

If someone has the details of each pin and function (like continus or switched power) of the big tractor -implement connector that would be nice.

no they are linked, my plow steers via isobus on windows to the AOG XTE but i can’t split screen the AgISOVirtualTerminal and AOG so i can see them both at the same time.

I have never heard of this kind of setup.

So your AgISOVirtualTerminal is using other inputs than just the USB can adapter?

You use a standard or modified AOG?
Or modified AgISOVirtualTerminal?

I must say that I don’t know much about the apps from open-agriculture.

I have a plan to order one of this with touch and use as a dual monitor system on my tractor for the RC app. Guess this can be an option for isobus controll as well?
Panasonic FZ-G1 support dual screen setup

If the touch-screen element works, I guess it could. Let us know how you get on

How did you get a AOG XTE output without enableling autosteering?
