Issues with Communication with IMU

Hey Everyone,

I am working on a kit and running into many issues with IMU communications. I set up UDP and the network looks good. On AgIO, I am only getting an IP Address from the GPS and my steer and IMU blocks are red. I read that sometimes this is not an issue, so I started the AgOpenGPS app but it does not look like I am getting any info from the IMU based on the orientation indicator in the lower right hand corner.

I have been trouble shooting this issue for a week and am getting frustrated. Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

I can post screenshots of AgIO later today. Thanks in advance!

What PCB? If steer icon is not green you might be missing(or its faulty) A/D Converter (ADS1115). I had this issue so I know… If IMU is not green but its installed, you may have wrong firmware flashed.

You test inside or outside? And did you config the f9p?
What board and hardware?

Hi, I am using that AIO v4.5 PCB. The green light on my IMU is on, and I was trying to flash different firmware on the Teensy to try to troubleshoot. How does the AD converter work?

I am inside bench testing it. I flashed the F9P using the configomatic app. I am using the AIO v4.5 board

Antenne out or inside? And what does serial monitor say at startup

I was setting up a new v 4.5 std board yesterday, and only gps icon was green, no autosteer or imu. First though was to power off and on the board, but no help. Then reset ip adress AND click Send. Now after another power off the teensy acted correctly and all 3 icons were green.

Hmm, interesting. How do you reset the IP address and send it?

My antenna is inside, I’ll send you the startup message later today.

in this picture where I have just clicked Autofill subnet, and the red mark above Set Subnet indicating you must click there (and hopefully your teensy is connected by UDP and can receive the info)

Watch the training videos on youtube, especially the first-run one.
