I’m planning to set up my second tractor with AgOpen and for this one I would like to use a Keya Motor instead of the combo 12V motor + gear.
My tractor is a Deutz M610 with the following steering :
Also, I understand Keya motor only work over CANBUS. As for me I have an AIO 4.5 standard, can you help me on what is there to add to make the system work ?
I have done this exact thing for mu deutz M600
And it works lovely. And was quit easy compared to my earlier setup. I used the D type adapter. But best that you pull the steering wheel of and count the splines.
Also I am verry interrested in where you put the pcb. And how you are going to do the steering sensor
@agref Thank you for your answer and help, now I know its feasible.
To you happen to have other pictures ? Are you still able to grab the power shuttle correctly ?
Also, Are you able to keep the steering wheel height position ? Since it is linked to the original wheel ?
For the location of the pcb and installation of the sensor I’ll keep you updated when I start doing the installation
I use a 4g router and a 4.5 aio standard board. With 1 gps
I have added a smal toggle shift on the command arm next to the lift and (LMHS) gear control. for activating the steering. Found this to be ideal to turn the steering on and of while driving (just vissible on the middle photo)
I have broken the wheel angle sensor when getting stuck or with a tree branch. So planning to maken some protective plating for this. (not really satisfied there)
The steering wheel is deffinetly higher then the origianl one. But not as much as I first thought. Since the original goes lower in the middle while the key steering wheel is much flatter
