Hey how are most connection section control and gps to a tough book? Is it by using a usb multiplug? Or is there a cleaner way? At the min I am powering my gps just via usb however I’m planing on adding section control so just think how do I go about adding this in and powering it which still keeping it simple to remove and just running the gps

Cleanest way:
Each hardware has their own DC-Jack for power input (12VDC Input Converter to 5VDC). For communication choose USB plug or better Ethernet.
Ive connected gps and imu through 1 usb port with a usb splitter then i put the section control through another usb on the tablet and works well.
How many usb ports do you have?
How many sections are you wanting to run?
I think the usb can handle power for 4 relays, after that you will need to power the relay board from a seperate source and just use the usb for the switching.
Im running a 12 relay board section control, relay board is power with a 5v supply from a 12v to 5v converter.
So just running 4 relays - so usb should work. Not sure how many ports but using a tough book- would a multi usb setup work to power the gps and machine module with 4 relays?
From what I seen on here, having a different power source can cause hassle no? I’m still hoping to charge the tablet from the cig lighter, even though I got connections maybe make this connect into the 12v 3 pin in the cab
