New holland canbus

Does you aio board sit where the nav controller sits? Does the bno behave ok that high up?
Do you remember which were the power wires? Unsure weather to run the wires to that plug in your picture or just connect to the green socket behind the seat. Was originally planning putting the pcb on floor by the seat

I have the board in place of the original navigator, and it works fine. I think I remember the power cables being 1 GND and 11 +12V from the 40-pin connector, and 3 Can H and 13 Can L. I don’t have the documentation available right now.

haven’t had that problem, the original angle sensor that was causing problems was changed.

I can verify that these are the pins. I am using the same ones.

Ok, so you are able to use the UTurn succesfully and the wheels are turning to maximum? What was your problem with the original angle sensor and was it difficult to change?

Ive put the aio board by the side of the seat and connected through the green diagnostic plug for the canbus wires
Im going to get a blank green plug and wire it up properly. Was also thinking of powering the pcb through the same connector any reason it wouldn’t work, currently got it on the 3 pin plug using the ignition switch pin.

The sensor was replaced because it was giving an error during calibration, as there was no way to center the steering. It was done in the workshop, as the tractor was under warranty. I have no problems with the U-turn.

It worked perfectly for me by connecting the CAN and power to the 40-pin socket where the OEM navigator is connected.

Well this turned out to be alot more work that i thought. Trying to read the diagnostic plug from the wrong side . Can hi/ can low power and earth. Hope it work :crossed_fingers:

Have you encountered any steering error codes using agopen over canbus?.
Tried a 225 2019 model, turned steer valve on and calibrated WAS and SPOOL all ok.
Done the steer wizzard all good.
But if i turn full lock left i get a steering fault code, the steering icon on the tractor screen shows a red ! Then the wheels on agopen screen show full lock left.
Restart and it will be fine until you turn full lock left again.
Any ideas

I’ve had a few when the WAS wasn’t working properly. You can enter the code on this page and it will tell you what it is: Equipment Ontario | CASE IH FAULT CODES

I get 15993 on start up which is ‘nav configured but not present’
Ive got channel 1 and channel 2 both set to ‘yes’
Can i change anything to get rid of that code?

I then get a 2nd code from full lock left which then stops both the tractor and agopen from working without a restart .
I mustve wrote the code down wrong for this one

Edit
2nd code is 15327 ‘sensor has exceeded calibration limit’
Maybe I’ll try calibrating the was again through the dash .

Would be nice to get rid of the one on start up if possible?

Bit of an update .
Ive recalibrated the WAS and this time i held the steering against the stops to get the full value and seems to have fixed that error code.
Now just the 15993
'Nav controller configured but not present ’
I tried setting channel 1 to yes and channel 2 to no
Tried channel 1 to no and channel 2 to yes but still get this error code.
Tractor will not engage steering unless both channels are set to yes.
Also the ‘nav’ option needs to be set or will not steer on ‘iso or off’.

This tractor used to have a trimble system on it.
Ive not tried yet but would the settings in the tractor green on the gps and PF pages need all gps related settings turning off i wonder🤔

Got another problem on another new holland
Year 2020 T7.230 (long wheel base)
Steer ready. Had a nh/trimble system on it at some point
Tried to do a WAS calibration but keep getting error code which relates to WAS out of range. During calibration the WAS numbers are displayed but they are not in the right range they should be for right/left/ centre compared to what ive seen on previous nh cambus installs
A new WAS has been fitted and still exactly the same issue.
The wiring harness from the sensor to the main loom by the radiator has been taken out, cover removed and wires inspected and all look good.
Its a 6 pin sensor with 6 wires that then go to 4 wires to the plug
Im getting 4.9 volts on 3 of the pins and 0v on the 4th pin.
Anyone got any ideas?
Using a v4.5 standard aio board. The tractor on the screen shows the wheels at full lock left at 50*.
Edit
Also plugged the old sensor back in and rotated it manually and watched the vales on the screen and saved the right/left/ centre values to what they should roughly be but still had the same error code (was out of range)

Something similar happened to me on the Puma 165, it took me a long time to calibrate the angle sensor, it also told me that it was out of range, but in the end, following your instructions of turning all the way, backing off a bit and turning all the way again before saving, it worked.

Yeah this is behaving exactly like the sensor is knackered but its not. Its reading values but completely out of range to what they should be , old and new sensor exactly the same behavior
Thinking the problem is further back perhaps

Getting back to my problem with NH T6.175, canbus and UTurn. I haven’t still figured out why AOG isn’t able to turn the wheels to full lock. This makes UTurn unusable on tight turns.

The local official NH service said that there shouldn’t be any settings on the tractor side for maximum steer angle. At least they haven’t seen anything like that in the CNH Electronic Service Tool.

I think I have tried everything on the steer settings. Anything on the firmware side maybe? Something wrong with the tractor? Calibration is ok. And like mentioned before, steering is perfect on AB lines.

I wonder if anyone else has this working? In that case could you share your steering settings?

Turn to full right and left lock. What does Actual value show?

Hi everybody
I,m trying to run an AIO board on a NH T7 Autosteer Ready.
I’ve found the pilar plug were I take 12V and CAN yellow/green
My question is, Is it enough to flash the teensy with configomatic?
And second question. What should I do to make it work ?

What age tractor is it?
You cant connect to the black plug on the pillar you need the green plug to connect to.
