Does anyone know if a 2021 steer ready nh needs a 3rd party unlock before it can be used with agopengps?
Connected my 4.1 aio to the black socket on the rear pillar using pins c and d. The steering control is turned on and set to channel 2 in the h menu main master switch turned on but not getting any steering angle or wheel movement .
Do i need a nh fitter with the est tool plugged in to activate 3rd party, hows everyone else managing
Its already had a trimble guidance on it so 95% sure everything is turned on it h menu but will double check.
Iāll try connecting to the green plug behind the seat and report back.
Ive connected to pins h and j on the green plug behind the seat.
Been in h menu to double check , steering controller turned on set to channel 2.
Not getting no response from the main master switch (checked all gps related fuses)
Pretty sure the green steer icon should be on in the centre dash when steer switch activated.
Pretty sure this needs to be on
Is an error code displayed? When is the key displayed with the steering wheel? Is it displayed when the tractor has started and nothing has been done? Or is it displayed when the tractor has been started and then only the steering wheel has been turned? If that is the case, the steering angle sensor and steering valve must be calibrated.
Today after double checking the settings in h menu i noticed they was 4 error codes (plus some others) that i didnāt notice before all related to the autosteer. After a look i noticed the wiring loom that leaves the axle from the WAS under the radiator is damaged. This could be the reason nothing is working. From past experience turning the master switch on usually puts a green Steering light on the dash and also able to turn it on and off via the intelliview (the 2nd picture).
After noticing the cable danage i tested the auto 4wd and diff function and neither appear to work so suspect a wiring problem.
Go direct to the wheel angle sensor, take a fly lead off of the signal output. Makes sure itās getting that 5v first tho.
Good morning,
with the manual, you must select the āNAVā type controller and not Isobus controleur
NH_NAV_selection.pdf (360,1 Ko)
Will this āunlockā the 3rd party gps option without the need for the laptop?
Does the āisoā and ānavā option still need enabling 1st via the laptop and est. A fitter says that doing the rocker switch method will work providing the iso and nav option is already enabled in the menu but can only be done via the laptop to start with
I would love to prove him wrong on this
personally, I activated the tractorās āNAVā mode, without AOG being connected to the tractor and without the need for a dealer
When I activated this, the AOG autosteer finally managed to control the tractor
What age tractor was this?
Ive Google translated the page you posted up.
Does the tractor need to be running or just ignition on and does this procedure need to be done whilst the hh menu is up on the front dash or just in normal mode?
the tractor is a T6 from the year 2020. the document is an extract from the user manual.
From memory, this operation had been carried out on the tractor started normally, without the HH menu activated.
the operation was detailed in the manual
Hello! Iām setting up AOG on an autosteer ready New Holland T6.175 2018 through canbus.
Iām wondering if anyone has information about the wiring on the left side connectors in the cabin. I have browsed through a lot of topics where the pins have been described for older CNH tractors, but in this case they seem to be different.
In the 40 pin connector, Iām assuming the following:
Pin 1 Ground
Pin 11 +12 V
Pin 3 CAN3-H
Pin 13 CAN3-L
Am I correct? What are the rest of the pins in the following pictures? I suppose CAN1 is not there and itās available only in the diagnostic connector in the right hand pillar?
Do you have the green diagnostic socket behind the seat base on the right? If so you could connect to can there
There has been a code update so now the steer and engage can be used on 1 canbus.
You might also need to go into h menu to enable the steering valves
I do have the green socket. But since I am placing the AOG box into the free space by those two connectors, I was just wondering if all needed connections would be found directly from them.
Steering valve is enabled in the tractor so everything is fine there.
What do you mean by using only one canbus? My AOG box has wires for both CAN1 and CAN3. Is either one of them not needed?
The green socket is pins h and j for can bus.
The original nh code a 2nd canbus was needed to connect to the diagnostic plug on the rear pillar to enable steering via joystick.
I believe the latest code its now all on 1 canbus not 2 canbus like it was originally
Do you have a reference for using only one canbus? I have searched the discussions and even tried to look at the code but couldnāt find anything about this change.
Only if you maybe compare the older and newer code
If you connect to the green plug you should get steering angles and steering. If the button on the joystick engages steering your good. If it does engage steering you can press the steer button on the tablet or use your 2nd can to connect to the black plug on rear pillar.
I remember reading the steer engage button is now on the same can as steering
