Rtk Fix age not stable

Hello everyone,
I notice my rtk fix age start in 0.9 or 1 and slowly increase until 2 o 2.1 (like 20 seconds) and then suddenly drop to 0.9 again.
I think maybe the messages are too heavy and start to make a wait list and when reach 1 second delay it resets and starts again.
Someone knows how to improve this??
Maybe is my rtk base caster that sending something wrong??
Also use a radio signal tripod and the steering was much smoother doesn’t jump from side to side

I would consider that as normal, if all numbers you mention are seconds.
Don’t think the reason to drive more stable with tripod is due to base signal.
Have tried rising fix age due to a too low ( 9600) baud rate, but then fix age grew bigger over a minute or so and continued to grow, had to restart lefebure ntrip on phone to correct it. Every couple of minutes as my F9P keep fix for 3 minutes.
Works with Bluetooth xbee set at 38400 baud.
The 9600 did work with my own base, because it have less constellations/less data.

Could you give more details about your base setup. Which link between the base receiver and the caster (server), which caste/server? No radio link along with cellular NTRIP?

Cellular data transfer is acknowledged (prefer or not), no messages ignored even if the link was too slow. A slow serial link from the base receiver to the caster could be an issue e.g. from a burst of low frequency messages.

I used to have issues with Ardusimple radios from my base to my caster even if the radio bit rate was 80 kbps (all default values). It was the radio modeule serial interface buffers. I reduced the serial bit rate to 57.6 kbps and changed a few radio parameters. All 4 constellation MSM4 messages started to get through OK (a minor additional latency from the slow serial interface).

We used to have a Fendt (700 SCR) with a 9600 bps radio (RF modem) which was good enough for a dual constellation receiver using legacy RTCM messages. It all depends…

The radio tripod works great, that’s not a problem. It stays stable at 0.7.
The NTRIP one have a base connected via ethernet, send the data to a paid server because doesn’t have fix IP yet, the caster is BKG and using a starlink antenna in the tractor roof, so i get internet everywhere.
I’m going to test with mobile hotspot and maybe with rtk2go if its working
Using these constellations
