RTKBase: a GUI for your own Gnss Base Station

I wil have a look for it.
But I have no zip file yet with 5 hours configuration?

So set up a base ealier today…has been up for many hours, pushing to my SNIP caster ( on local network)…noticed it was offline ealier…can still access web gui…and still showing signal… But SNIP is logging that it is “never sent any data after the NTRIP setup string, marked as bad connection”…

Looked at diagnosic page on RTKBase and shows this:

What could be wrong?

EDIT - randomly got it going again last night, but did notice the signal bars did infact dissappear from the status page of RTKBase… USB device still plugged in and detectable with LSUSB…left it running last night, not sure when it died, but its the same thing morning, no signal bars and no data feeding to SNIP.

What should be the correct configuration of the P1122R as a base station.
I get signal strength but unfortunately no correction data.
Connection via USB converter.
What should be set additionally in GNSS Viewer?

Hope you can get some info from this, as I dont have time to take Base down right now.

At first I let the base make a 10 min survey in, and then I set the fixed position in the skytraq,
I should optimize the settings but it works as Base for my F9P as it is.

Strange thing with the WAAS, as I did not choose that.

I used this guide http://navspark.mybigcommerce.com/content/GNSSViewerUserGuide.pdf

And this gnss viewer version: GNSS_Viewer-CustomerRelease-2.1.056
Click on Venus 8 to configure

I changed the 5000000 to 500000 mb and now I have 24 hours files. But no zip files.

What messages are others using with F9P rovers? I changed the default to 1005(10),1074(1),1084(1),1094(1),1230(30), but now only get float, no RTK fix…

Ok, that’s better.

What is the output of
systemctl status rtkbase_archive.timer
and
systemctl status rtkbase_archive.service

What is the output of systemctl status rtkbase_str2str_tcp.service ?

Thanks,

There is something wrong in your archive_and_clean.sh script.
You can edit it and run it manually to figure out where the problem is.

I still get this message, missing ‘)’ wlEmoticon-sadsmile[1].png
image[2].png

checked the code but I miss it.

This script works for me : rtkbase/archive_and_clean.sh at dev ¡ Stefal/rtkbase ¡ GitHub

Oke I will use your script. Is there an easy way to put this file on the Raspberry? I am a Newby! wlEmoticon-winkingsmile[1].png. I use Putty

Thanks!!

Try this:
Go to your rtkbase folder then:

rm archive_and_clean.sh
wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Stefal/rtkbase/dev/archive_and_clean.sh -O archive_and_clean.sh
chmod +x archive_and_clean.sh

Are you sure that you put in the correct position?
Be aware that there are 4 different types position numbers for same spot.(look at ant. location in my chart above)
EDIT:
The issue probably was that I put a , comma instead of a . dot when set the fixed position in the skytraq, and position was way off. (leaving out all digits after the comma)
Rtk2go disconnect (never really accept the input) if set position, is too far away from the one in the ntrip feed.

I just inputted the same lat / long / elevation that I used before from a survey in on the F9P? Should that be correct? (There the ones I used with ESPRTK and all was well…)

I use a computer for strsvr, just membering, that I had some issue with the position. Maybe only the . or , issue (dot or comma)
But now I opened another strsvr and can see that I have not set a position in it.

But I am quite sure I had that position issue, either when I fiddled with my F9P as base (to find out if I could make F9P as base, and it worked) before moving on to the skytraq PX1122 as my final base for F9P

Thanks, I have uploaded it. Now logging.

The problem I have is that I have a lot times fix/float.

What I have done now, I connect off the Skytraq usb from the raspberry and connect it to the computer.
With strsvr.exe I send it to rtk2go. With the same coordinates as in the raspberry and now I have all the time a fix. Very strange. In which direction I have search? The baudrate off the Skytraq is 57600, can that be an issue for the raspberry?
Jack

Honestly, I don’t know. Baudrate should not be an issue as 57600 should be enough for a 1hz stream.

I dont t think its a problem.

Ik keep having problems with fix/float all te time. I optimze the base coordinates with IGS. The zip file is now working!!

But:
The RTCM stream out the Skytraq is allready corrected with the base coordinates which is inputted in the Skytrac. The RTCM is ready for use. What is the raspberry software doing with the RTCM stream. Corrected it again with the coordinates from in the raspberry?

With windows10 and strsvr.exe no problem, but I think the stream goes 1 up 1 to the internet?

Must set the Skytraq to rover? Then is the output NMEA. Can the raspbery handle that stream?

Thanks Jack
