@WildBuckwheat is that ok that i do not see the actual rate
?
I believe I had a separate setting somewhere that allowed my 750 to display and set the rate, but I kept that setting off.
I have both section and rate setting on. It seems hardi do not see speed
I believe that in your HC5500 there is a setting that decides whether speed comes from the gps or from the wheel sensor? I think you have a 3pt machine which doesn’t have a wheel sensor, maybe the setting is not set correctly?
I do not see any option for speed sensor. Maybe VRA ENABLE, disable (disappear) option for speed
Hi Matt, all,
my brother has this Hardi HC2500 and the control box looks similar to yours (but is more similar to @Bwuk 's picture from first post). I am at the very beginning of the process of thinking how it works and trying to figure out how it is all connected physically on the sprayer and also what are possible solutions to connect it with AOG.
What I understood from the posts: for the opening/closing sections there are probably limit switches at the motors so all I need to do is connect power to the motor and then switch polarity (with DPDT) for open/close - power to the motor will be cut by the limit switch once valve is at position. For the pressure I actually need some motor controller, because I do not want to have power connected permanently for this motor. I am not sure about the flow sensor yet, how it works or how it is connected (somewhere I have read that it just send the pulses).
I have also read several topics here so far and honestly I am bit confused. I want to use some existing solution and my honest opinion so far is that best is to use SK21’s board which has support for the rate control with sensors - having this would be pretty awesome. I would also want to have physical switches available as a backup in case anything goes wrong (I did not see these switches on SK21 or did I miss something?), also not destroying original Hardi control (and other) boxes (but I am not sure if there are compatible cables/connector for buy or I need to cut original wires). Why did you create your own board and not use some existing one if I may ask? Is not SK21 or some other available not suitable for Hardi?
@Bwuk as you started this topic, may I ask you how successful you were with the section control for your Hardi?
I do not want to spam multiple threads, so I will ask also @martinmcc here: you said elsewhere that you made several Hardi control boxes, did you create your own or did you use some existing schematics?
Thanks all for any info.
