My sprayer runs AgopenGps for steering, mapping and section control. The rate control is handled by a Raven 460. The speed signal for the Raven comes from a GPS speed puck on the roof. The last couple of times I sprayed the speed puck was acting up. I would like to take speed signal from the AIO board. The sprayer currently has an AIO v4.2 std board. Will it work to use the speed pulse + or - pin to input speed into the raven? Will a pull up or pull down resistor be required to clarify the signal for the Raven? A friend has some AIO v4.5 std boards, would there be any reason to upgrade to the v4.5 board as far as the speed pulse output is concerned. Thanks
Can you not just use GPS out and USB to DB9 cable?
Thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately my Raven is an older model with no serial port on the back
The Raven has a pull resistor built in. I’m using a Deere receiver to make a pulse for my Raven but I want to start using the AOG board. I’ve not done it yet but my research (Gemini AI) tells me to hook the Raven pin 1 to the (-) and Raven pin 2 to the (+). You should be good to go but you’ll have to change you speed cal to the 850 area.
