What should be the minimum voltage and current specifications for section control outputs from an AiO PCB? There isn’t room for relays, possibly room for FETs. How many channels do you think would cover 90% of the needs? Would 8 sections be enough?
The 74HC595 doesn’t cost much, I believe it can do 8 sections but it’s not a 12V device (<7V, 5V typical). 20mA per output but only 70mA max total.
