Teensy posibly not working

Hi
I would just like to see if anyone has any ideas about anything else that could be brocken or not working before i buy a new Teensy. Agio is connected to the teensy and is reciving gps data but the steering angle from the WAS is not changing in AOG with it somtimes flashing between 68 and 0. The keya canbus motor is also no longer moving. Any help is much apreciated if you need any more info let me know.

thanks
Lochie

Im having a bad spell with teensys aswell
Do you have any orange lights flashing?
When you plug it into usb does the tablet reconise it?
Might have no lights at all and the usb isnt reconised on mine

yes the I have an orange light flashing on the teensy and the tablet does seem to recognise it when i plug it in with usb.

have you checked the power to the teensy on yours?

If you got power and orange light on your well ahead of me. Mine are completely dead to usb but not tested for power

the teensy should get power from the usb when you plug it into you computer so it might be that your teensy is brocken.

The teensy sounds like its all good.
You maybe have another problem
Check your was and all the wiring. Test for the correct voltages at the ampseal.
If your was isnt working its probably why your keya has stopped

i have got the was working now turns out it was a lose wire but the keya still dosent whant to work is there any way i can hook my computer up to it to test it?
thanks for your help so far.
Lochie

You can test the keya in simulator mode by using the pwm buttons i believe but the keya still needs connecting to the board via canbus and a power supply.
What model keya have you got? The v3 i believe had indicator lights on it somewhere but the v4 doesn’t
Have you checked the power supply to it? It needs a really good power supply direct from battery ideally. If you connected to a different supply check the fuse on that line
Check your canbus wires at the ampseal and the keya end
You could possibly connect to the serial cable supplied with the keya

I have tried with the simulator mode but it still isnt working. Im pretty sure it is a v3 but i cant see any indicator lights. it has 12.3v to the keya and all of the wires seem fine. Is there any way i can check that agio is talking to the keya or how i could connect to the keya with the serial cable?

Thanks
Lochie

If its the v3 im pretty sure it will have some indicator lights on the motor somewhere, possibly blue lights which blink in a sequence to give an error code of there is a problem. The fact you have no light’s on is possibly a good thing
Did the keya come with a serial cable and a small breakout board? This could be for the v4 versions instead.
You could plug your teensy into the computer and try reflashing it
Are you certain the 2 canbus wiress from the keya to the pcb are all good and wired up correctly?
You could try doing the steer wizzard again see how you get and if you get a response from it that way

The indercator light is red when it is connected to the AIO board and is flashing red when i disconect it from the board with the can wires. Any ideas on what this might mean. I might try contact keya and see if they can help me figure out what is happening i will let you know if they have any ideas. Another question of mine is what motor driver should i have selected in the wizard. I had the cytron selected before when it was working but I am unsure wether this is the right option.

Many Thanks
Lochie

Maybe get yourself on the keya telegram group, a wealth of knowledge on there and quick answers.
I believe cytron is the default setting but your not using that so dont change it
Have you been through the steer wizzard and load all the settings to default and try again

did some digging and found this. i will contact keya and see how i can fix it and i will also try the keya telegram group. thanks for all the help.
