Tractor steering problem

Hello everyone. I’ve just completed the plumbing and wiring for a Baraki hydaulic valve autosteer setup. I haven’t connected up the PCB or tablet yet. Unfortunately, I now have a problem with the tractors steering. I will try and explain it the best I can.
When the tractor is started, there is a large amount of resistance too overcome to turn the steering wheel. Once this initial resistance is overcome, the steering operates as normal. If the steering wheel is left untouched for a period of anything more than a few seconds, it becomes extremely stiff once again. However, if you keep actively steering the tractor, it remains easy and free to steer.
I initially though that there may have been air in the load sense lines, so I hooked the tractor up to a disc harrow and went to the field, hoping that once the oil got up to temperature the problem would disappear. Unfortunately, the problem only got worse, and after 30 mins I had to stop.
I am wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem? It seems to me to be a load sensing issue, but I could be wrong. Maybe I have plumbed it up wrong, but once the initial resistance is overcome the steering behaves as normal, so I would think that would rule it out?
The tractor is a New Holland 8870 with supersteer.
I re-routed the 2 steering lines and the load sense lines through the Baraki valve, whilst I tee’d into the flow and return lines to and from the orbital unit.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

This indicates you have problems with the Ls connection between orbitrol and Hydraulic pump.

Oil pressure in the Ls line leaks off too fast somewhere.
First thing to do, could be to switch the hoses at the two Ls inputs on the baraki valve, to see if that makes a difference.

Meant to update this. I swopped over the LS hoses first thing this morning and it has been working perfectly since.
Thanks

Larsvest, why do you think swapping the LS lines fixes the problem? Curious to know. I’m having a similar problem when I turn the steering wheel sharply- the wheel locks and will not turn unless backed off momentarily. I almost ran over a rock pile the other day so the problem needs to be fixed!

No other reason than hoses accidentally had been put wrong on the first place.

Does your system lock completely,v or just get hard to turn further?

If it gets harder, I would guess at something like the ball inside shuttle valve shifted to wrong side due to return pressure from opposite side, making Ls system think it no more need pressure.
Does your tractor work with other hydraulic activities at same time?
