After closing a field, you will have a file called field.kml. Open this file. Now in Google earth, in this field, turn on background. It will be a thin red line, well outside the field boundary. Type, u and n. This will set the image straight up and north. If you are zoomed to the boundary, then screen capture this. Alt, + print screen.
Open your favorite photo editor and ctrl v. Crop the picture to the red line. Now save that to a jpg file.
Back in AOG, lower left is the map btn. Click it. Click load, navigate to the image. Load it and save j
Hi, thanks, at this moment go to the bed, but tomorrow test! Happy for your interest at this work. For me, is not for tree plantation, it’s for special cultural. Nessrsary to have seed lines for auto drive and limit lines at 1 meter interval for mechanic beep (section control)
Here it is with the new flash screen. Slow speed filter has been removed because it blocked @BrianTee_Admin updated position. It does however allow for a smaller start speed. Too small if you ask me. But you can set it to 0.1 if you want to play with it.
@KentStuff Could you post the source code? I’d like to make MPH larger and I’d like to make the exe icon a tree so it’s easier to distinguish from Brian’s version. I’ve also downloaded your micro version and would like to do the same to it, if you’d be so kind as to share it’s source code also.
@Vili Your splash screens are works of art. I love them.
If you set the YouTurn distance to 30. It will not plant a tree closer than that. But there is not a routine that will set it on a given space around the perimeter or inside that. If the lines are straight, you can set one row along an abline exactly 30 in. Might be something to add to the planner.
D##M autocorrect. I meant to say that autocad might read xml. It’s autocads civil3d but it didn’t like my computer. I took my field xml to Google Earth and with a bunch of measureing and pins made an interior offsett. It’s crude but good enough to get my count of how many nuts we’ll need to get this fall to plant late winter in pots.
If it wouldn’t be to hard to program, the function is already in the headland. Just say - stay inside the headland. Easy right?
Probably the best solution would be to allow a larger offset in the drive boundary setup. It’s currently capped at 49.99.
Boundary Curve must be set first. Or it will pick the first curve and plant trees along that curve.
Boundary offset is much bigger. And will allow for a little over a football field.
Open the tree planner panel. Set the X Offset to the spacing of the trees along the line. Click the tree with the B on it. It will layout trees from the start of the boundary, X spacing on center. Corners are measured around the corner. Anyway, something to play with. It will plant trees on a curve at a given spacing. Or fence post!!!
