V4 all-in-one PCB

@del_boy you might be the perfect person to be able to advise me on a problem i have. CNH T7 which has/had CNH autosteer. I have AGOpen running, GPS all fine etc however i cannot get any change of WAS on the setup wizard. Looking at the CNH it shows the WAS movment but not on AGOpen. If i use the Autosteer which (on) steering gets a little heavier, once released the steering wheel releases pressure. You mention a WAS/Spool calibration. Unless i have missed this somewhere can you give some guidance on this. I have tried using CAN but have wired directly into the 40pin autosteer to try and avoid any issues for now.

What age is the tractor?
Pre 18 will be analogue so can connect to the 40 pin plug to all the appropriate pins for left right etc
After 2018 it was canbus steering so only need to connect 2 wires to the tractors canbus system
If its canbus and its not had the steering used before it will need turning on in the h menu then will need to go through a calibration procedure to activate the valve

It’s a 23 model and have tried to use via cambia and 40 pin. Ground, 12v and then Can L and H. H menu is confirmed on both however your calibration comment on the H menu got me thinking this is where my problem lies as I get nothing on the WAS movement but can see it through Intelliview screen changing, just nothing on AGO. PCB is 4.1. Do I need different firmware from the 4.1 board given its CANBUS? I suspect not as I get green icons with GPS etc but cannot get any steering. Can you point me in the direction for any calibration to open up the valves? This is also via H menu?

That age is definitely canbus
How are you currently connecting?
Pin 3 and pin 13?
On your inteliview screen do you have the steering wheel symbol showing? When you toggle the master switch the icon on inteliview should go between road mode locked and field mode unlocked?
Are you using the aio modified canbus and selected the nh brand in the serial monitor?

Currently have it in the 40 pin using pins 3 and 13 as you asked. On the Intelliview screen i can get the green steer icon up once the side mounting Autosteer switch is enabled. I have used Configomatic to flash All in one 4.1. I did try Commonrail apapted for All in one (set up on another board as i aim for another CNH that is not autosteer ready if i manage to crack this one) but could not get any GPS on this 2nd board so abandoned it and went back to the All in 4.1. Should i try Arduino IDE to flash this second board again (i noticed you did this in a seperate post and dint use Configomatic - trying to ensure i limit mistakes where possible). Can you please describe where the nh brand Serial Monitor can be found to be sure i have this correctly identified - i cant recall seeing this in the past. Many Thanks!

The green steering wheel icon on the front dash is irrelevant for now.
You should be getting a steering wheel symbol on the inteliview if the steering is activated and turned on in h menu and calibrated
Configomatic no use for canbus as you need arduino ide and select serial monitor and find the nh part

Thanks @del_boy. Will give the ardinuo route a shot using “Autosteer_AOGv5_Teensy4.1UDP_SteerReadyCAN_AIOModified” which i now presume is the correct one to use and hope i can get some response from that given i have the steering wheel activated and H menus both “yes”. Calibration may still be something to look at and I may call on some guidance for that if i cant make any progress but appreciate your help thus so far.

Yes thats the right firmware
You’ll need the diagnostic plug to preform the WAS and SPOOL calibration to unlock the valve if you havnt got the steering wheel symbol showing on the top left on the inteliview screen

@del_boy can you please elaborate more on this point regarding the select serial monitor. Are you meaning to set via service tool (bridging the pins on the black CANBUS plug - i have already confirmed the CH 1 & 2 are on. Alternatively once flashed Teensy i can go to Tools/Serial/Monitor but there is nothing specific there showing post flash. In looking at the code within Ardinuo IDE for the Autosteer AOGV5 Mod on the “Can All Brands” Tab i can see NH referenced but dont know if something needs to be modified specifically in the firmware for NH. Many thanks!

In arduino ide you need to open serial monitor
S then send
The select P for panda messages
Send
Then select brand 2 for new holland
Then send

Thank you @del_boy i will give that a try, very much appreciate your help.

Hello everyone, I have noticed JLCPCB does not stock 23pin ampseal connectors anymore.

Also more than 50% of the components are not stocked or “out of rotation”?? While building out the board.

I have used ChatGPT to find alternates but some I can not find or know if they are right.

Can anyone help update these files or expand the alternate list for other items?

Nothing on the BOM was nolonger stocked when I got some v4.5 boards earlier this month. Some parts were out of stock, but not that many. I had about three goes over a month, each time some parts were out of stock and in another time. The only component that was consistently out of stock in that time was the opticouplers.

I waited until there was only a few components that were out of stock. There is a list of alternative parts in the board files and several more alternatives mentioned in the threads on here.

I have found my issue; instead of relying on the auto search and copy and paste the description; I have since changed to copy and paste the part number and instantly find in stock items
