I would like to order as many things now so that everything arrives and I’m not waiting for parts when I start the install.

Is there anything else I need to order to get the system up and running? I know I will need wire to connect the WAS I’m planning on getting that from a local store unless there’s a recommended type not available here.

Anything your not seeing on this list that I will need please drop it in the comments bellow It would be very helpful thanks!!

Guess you need a 23p ampseal connector ?
And you run motor 12 or 24v?

That plugs in to the large connector on the PCB correct? Do I need a connector for the other end? I assume it connects to the tablet WAS and steering motor?

Im running the 24v dc motor linked in my list

Thats up to you, I usualy add one pvc junkcion box where I do all the connections and put one 10x0.75 with ampseal that connects with board. Board <> Tablet is only usb or UDP(usb to ethernet adapter if no slot).

ok thanks do you have a picture of the electrical box setup you used?

List looks a good start.
If your using the phidgets 24v motor then you’ll need the 12v to 24v converter aswell if your planning on using 24v and wanting to do uturns.
Some switch for main master power on off and a steer button. Also alot of people use the relay mod to kill power to the phidgets and to prevent any back current.
Enjoy the project, plenty of help along the way

Could you explain more on the 12v to 24v converter? why is it needed for uturns? any recommended brands?

Is the steer button necessary or just a convenience thing? Can I not just activate/deactivate auto steer on the Tablet itself? That’s what my plan was since the tablet is going to be mounted in easy reach.

I also plan on doing the cytron mod to relieve back pressure when not using auto steer. I’m familiar with soldering so not to worried about it. Is there a benefit of using a relay over the cytron mod?

Thanks!

The phidgets motor is rated for 24v use. I lve been using a 24v phidgets motor on the combine but only running it at 12v. This is absolutely fine for straight line work and curve tracks but when running at 12v it won’t preform uturns as it cant spin fast enough.

Yes you can you the tablet screen to activate autosteer, a dedicated button mounted in the right place is alot easier to use though but you can add that later

Perfect! That has cleared everything up on that front thank you sir!

You will need gears for the motor and steering wheel. Fabricate a bracket to hold the motor. Fabricate bracket and linkage for the WAS. A mount for the GPS antenna.

I have the gears and a mount printed for the steering motor should have mentioned that in the OP. still have to work out the WAS mount and linkage but waiting on the sensor to do that
