Wheel Angle Sensor data reading

I have connected my wheel angle sensor to the PCB. I just want to know how I can get the data from the wheel angel sensor to the tablet.

If everything is correct on PCB, then wheel angle goes to tablet from teensy, by USB or UDP

My tablet is connected with PCB with the ethernet cable. When I turn the steering wheel the tablet doesn’t get the angle from the wheel angle sensor. It just shows 0. Also if I change the angle in the tablet the steering wheel doesn’t turn either. I would really appreciate if someone helps me out. Thank you.

Maybe put a picture if your board up.

Have you checked the voltage from the WAS through it’s range of motion.

Yes, I have checked the voltage. It’s getting the 5V power and in the signal wire the it shows 2.3V and doesn’t change when I turn the sensor from left to right. What can be the reasons? I am using this WAS:

Its possible the pin out is wrong in the plug. Ive read it before on here but cant remember.

Have you looked here and compared the pin out.
Are you using the correct signal pin on the ampseal there are 2 options

Also check that you have the right wires hooked to the right things. As I recall blue is signal, red is +5v and yellow is ground but you should double check as the wire colors might be different. If you have a power supply that can provide 5 volts test it with a multimeter.

WAS 5V Pin-1 5V output for Wheel Angle Sensor
WAS High Pin-2 Used for Single with GND and Differential with WAS Low
WAS GND Pin-4 Ground for WAS

I used these pins of ampseal. I connected the pin 4, WAS ground and auto steer switch GNS together using wago connector.

Without looking i thought it was pins 1 3 and 4 used on the ampseal but ive not wired up a WAS for a longtime.
Try swapping pin 2 to pin 3.
Put up a picture of your board, are you sure the ads1115 is fitted

I swapped pin2 to pin3 and it worked. Thank you for your help. Now I’m getting the right signal voltage when I turn the lever. I just want to know what my next step should be to make it work. Because now if I turn the lever, the AgOpenGPS software doesn’t show the angle.
